Canon — Chapter 3 of 5
Content
The Proof Engine — Proof Extraction
Content is not marketing. Content is evidence that your mechanism works. Every post, video, and case study either proves your Theory of Value or dilutes it. The difference between thought leadership and noise is structural — it is whether your content follows a forensic evidence chain or scatters attention.
The Question
Does your content prove your mechanism or just fill the feed?
01The Signal-to-Noise Problem
The average creator publishes 3-5 pieces of content per week. Less than 10% of it directly ties back to their offer or proves their mechanism works. The rest is engagement bait, trending audio, or generic advice. This is not a creativity problem. It is an architectural problem — the content has no structural relationship to the revenue model.
02Evidence Chains
An Evidence Chain is a sequence of content pieces that systematically dismantle objections, demonstrate mechanism outcomes, and build conviction toward your offer. Each piece has a specific role: Diagnosis (the problem), Proof (the mechanism works), and Prescription (the next step).
03What This Means For You
If you are creating content with no conversion architecture behind it, you are building someone else's platform. The Canon addresses content as a structural function — not a creative one.
