The irreversible commitment used in the Audit intake process to test identity permission, the specific action a creator will take within a defined timeframe that creates real consequence if abandoned. Not a goal. Not an intention. An act with skin in the game. The Binding Act tests whether the creator has identity permission to make the change the Commodity Tax demands.
**The Diagnostic Function:** A weak Binding Act (low consequence if abandoned) is a Phase Error indicator, it reveals Cognitive Dissonance. The creator knows the math (the Commodity Tax) but refuses the behavioral cost. Their identity has not yet given them permission to change.
